Sandra Bullock Takes An Acting Leave After The Lost City Premieres
JAKARTA - Actress Sandra Bullock said that she wanted to take a break or take a break from acting for a while. He said the film The Lost City will be the last time fans will see him act in front of the camera. The film, starring Bullock, is scheduled to hit US theaters on March 25.
"I can be creative, I can be part of the community, but right now, working in front of the camera needs a break," he said in an interview that will air on CBS Sunday Morning.
Bullock told host Tracy Smith that she didn't know exactly how long it would take to take a break from acting. Bullock said he wanted to focus on his family for now.
"I want to be at home. So I don't help anyone who invests in a project if I say, 'I just want to be at home'. … Because I've always worked and keep working. I just want to be present and be responsible for one thing ," he was quoted as saying by The Hollywood Reporter, Friday, March 18.
Bullock's sons and daughters named Louis are currently 12 years old and Laila is 10 years old. Bullock also explained about the decision to take a break to Entertainment Tonight that he has always been serious when working almost 24 hours. He said right now he just wanted to be with his children and family.
Besides "The Lost City", Bullock also has another film that will be released in July this year, namely "Bullet Train" starring with Brad Pitt. The film finished production in early spring 2021.
In "The Lost City", Sandra Bullock co-starred with Channing Tatum, Brad Pitt, Daniel Radcliffe, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Oscar Nuñez, Patti Harrison, and Bowen Yang. Bullock has closed 2021 by starring in the Netflix film "The Unforgivable", following the success of the Netflix film "Bird Box" (2018).
