Preventing Brawls Between Students, West Cikarang Police Visits Vocational High School 1 To Conduct Student Guidance

CIKARANG BARAT – The rise of brawls between students has attracted the attention of many parties. Not infrequently there are also fatalities due to brawls. Ironically, the perpetrators, the majority of whom were students, used sharp weapons to kill their opponents.

To anticipate brawls among students, Thursday, March 17, the West Cikarang Police visited a number of schools to provide counseling to students to avoid brawls. One of them is SMKN 1 West Cikarang in Poncol Village, RT 001/05, Gandasari Village, West Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java.

Located in the field of SMKN 1, West Cikarang Deputy Chief of Police, Commissioner Adjutant of Police Tarmuji, provided guidance, counseling, and appeals, even emphasizing students not to fight.

“I appeal to the children at school that their job is only to study,” said Commissioner Adjutant of Police Tarmuji, via text message, Thursday, March 17.

Commissioner Adjutant of Police Tarmuji also strongly asked the students of SMKN 1 Cikarang Barat not to celebrate the school's anniversary. Because according to Tarmuji, celebrating the school's anniversary by carrying out convoys on the road, tends to be a big risk.

“It is forbidden to carry out convoy actions on the highway because it will endanger themselves and others. Then, you are not allowed to do sweeping, let alone do brawls. Nowadays, provocations can be done very easily, because brawls can be planned through social media. Therefore, we should not be easily provoked,” he insisted.
