Bambang Pamungkas Child Abandonment Case Rises Investigation, Police Will Determine Suspect
JAKARTA - The case of alleged child neglect with the reported status of Bambang Pamungkas has been upgraded to an investigation status. Sooner or later a suspect will be identified.
"Indeed, there has been an investigation (the status of the Bambang Pamungkas case, ed)," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Thursday, March 17.
Although the investigation has been carried out, Bambang Pamungkas' legal status is still as a witness or a reported person. In the near future, the former Persija player will be questioned.
"Later (the examination, ed) will be scheduled by investigators," said Zulpan.
In addition, in the process of handling this case, investigators will examine several other witnesses. Later, a case will be carried out to determine the suspect.
"There is another witness examination before the file is handed over to the prosecutor's office. Meanwhile (BP) is still a reported witness," said Zulpan.
Bambang Pamungkas was previously reported to Polda Metro Jaya on suspicion of child neglect.
The reporter in this case is a woman named Amalia Fujiawati. The woman is said to be the former wife of Siri of Bambang Pamungkas.
