As A Suspect, DJ Chantal Dewi Is Threatened With 4 Years In Prison

JAKARTA - Artist and Disk Jockey (DJ) Chantal Dewi has been officially named a suspect in a narcotics possession case. In this case, 0.4 grams of crystal methamphetamine was used as evidence.

"We have secured and named a suspect on behalf of Chantal Dewi," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Thursday, March 17.

In addition to the evidence of methamphetamine, the determination of the suspect was also based on the results of a urine examination. He tested positive for shabu.

"The evidence found in the Hampton Park apartment was submitted in the apartment lobby, it was in the person's clothes," said Zulpan.

With the determination of the suspect, Chantal Dewi is suspected of Article 127 paragraph 1 of the Republic of Indonesia Law number 35 of 2009 regarding narcotics. Thus, he faces up to 4 years in prison.

The police arrested the artist and disc jokey (DJ) with the initials Chantal Dewi on Wednesday, March 16 at 23.30 WIB.
