NTB Kajati Follows Up On Corruption Allegation Of North Lombok Deputy Regent Danny Karter
NTB - Head of the NTB High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) Sungarpin promised to follow up on the alleged corruption case that dragged the Deputy Regent of North Lombok Danny Karter Febrianto (DKF).
Danny has now been named as a suspect in the construction project for the addition of the IGD and ICU rooms at the local hospital in the 2019 budget year.
"We are studying and examining the case, including the progress of the case," said NTB Kajati Sungarpin while at the NTB DPRD Building in Mataram, Antara, Tuesday, March 15.
Sungarpin said that as a new official at the NTB Prosecutor's Office, of course he would study and research the case. Because according to him, the case should not settle for too long, even though there is an SOP, but it is not binding for several months.
"The extent of the case. There is Bu Wakajati and Aspidsus who will just help me follow up," he said.
Danny was named a suspect in 2021. The perpetrator acted as a supervisory consultant from CV Indo Mulya Consultant for allegedly smoothing out the two problematic projects so that the projects were paid in full. This action is suspected to have caused state losses of Rp. 1.75 billion.
In addition to the DKF, the NTB Prosecutor's Office also named four other suspects, namely the former Director of the North Lombok Hospital with the initials SH, the commitment maker (PPK) for the HZ project, the attorney for the Director of PT Batara Guru, MF and the Director of CV Indo Mulya Consultant.
However, until Danny was named as a suspect for the alleged corruption, because there had not been a summons for questioning by the NTB Prosecutor's Office investigator.
To note, the project that dragged the Deputy Regent of North Lombok, namely the addition of the ER and ICU rooms by PT Batara Guru Group, was carried out with a value of Rp. 5.1 billion. Allegations of corruption emerged after the government terminated the project contract in the middle of the construction progress.
Furthermore, for the alleged corruption case in the operation room and ICU addition project by PT Apro Megatama with a work value of Rp6.4 billion, four suspects were named.
They are the former Director of the KLU Hospital, SH, the official making the EB commitment, the attorney for the Director of PT Apro Megatama, DT and the Director of CV Cipta Pandu Utama, DD. The former Director (RSUD) became a suspect in two projects.
In this case, the alleged corruption arose because the work was delayed and resulted in a fine. This also resulted in state losses, based on the audit results, amounting to Rp. 742.75 million.
