Singapore Airlines Expands Vaccinated Travel Lane Network To 66 Cities In 27 Countries Including Bali
JAKARTA - Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group will again expand its Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) network in the coming weeks, reaching 66 cities in 27 countries. SIA will gradually include Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Da Nang, Denpasar (Bali), Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata and Penang in its VTL network starting March 16, 2022.
In addition, SIA will progressively convert more non-VTL flights to VTL flights to existing VTL destinations. This includes Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai from 17 March, as well as Bangkok, London, Male, Phnom Penh, and Siem Reap from April onwards.
Scoot, the low-cost carrier belonging to the SIA group of companies, will gradually incorporate Amritsar, Athens, Coimbatore, Hanoi, Hat Yai, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila, Penang, Tiruchirappalli, Trivandrum, and Visakhapatnam into its VTL network.
“Singapore Airlines Group welcomes the latest expansion of the Singapore VTL network, which will provide our customers with greater travel options and flexibility. We continue to see high demand for VTL services, and will adjust the network in the right way," said General Manager of Indonesia Singapore Airlines Alvin Seah as quoted by ANTARA, March 12.

SIA and Scoot customers who have already made a booking will be notified when their flight has been designated a VTL flight. Customers who do not meet VTL requirements can choose to rebook their flights or request a refund.
