Metro Police And The Indonesian Football Association Will Arrange Football Match Rules
JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police (Polda) said it would coordinate with the All-Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) regarding the rules for the number of spectators in football matches.
This coordination is a follow-up to the government's decision to allow 2021/22 Liga 1 matches to be held with spectators
"PSSI's decision to allow spectators, of course, we will talk about the capacity of the audience," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, March 9
Zulpan emphasized that even though the government had given permission, it did not mean that the number of spectators would reach 100 percent of the stadium's capacity. Because right now, it's still the COVID-19 pandemic
So, in addition to the number of spectators, several rules that will be negotiated with PSSI include the application of health protocols and vaccination of spectators.
"Then how will the system of implementing health care programs among the audience, the PeduliLindung application and also mandatory vaccines be implemented," said Zulpan
"What is the system, we will check whether before entering the stadium or when ordering tickets, we will first meet with PSSI," he continued.
