High School Student Found Dead, Suspected Of Suicide Drinking Sodium Nitrate Liquid

JAKARTA - A high school student was desperate to end his life by committing suicide by drinking hard drugs at his home in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Monday, March 7, morning.

The 16-year-old male victim was identified with the initials JAAG. When conducting a crime scene (TKP), the police confiscated a bottle of the chemical sodium nitrate as evidence.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Sam Suharto, said that according to Omar's statement, the victim's parents found his son lying in his room unconscious.

"Near the victim's body, a bottle of the chemical Sodium Nitrate was found. The witness immediately took the victim to the RSCM," said AKP Sam when contacted by VOI, Monday, March 7, afternoon.

But unfortunately, when he arrived at the RSCM the victim had died from drinking the strong drug.

Until now, the police are still investigating the cause of the victim's desperate to end his life. Meanwhile, the case is still being handled by the Menteng Police.
