Indomaret Owned By Conglomerate Anthony Salim Creates A New Company In Singapore Named Fiberstar

JAKARTA - The parent of the Indomaret outlet manager of conglomerate Anthony Salim, PT Indoritel Makmur Internasional Tbk (DNET) has established a new company in Singapore called Fiberstar Pte.

In an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), quoted on Friday, March 4, Indoritel Makmur Internasional Corporate Secretary Kiki Yanto Gunawan said the company through its subsidiary PT Mega Access Persada (MAP) established Fiberstar Pte on March 2, 2022.

Fiberstar is engaged in the business of cable-based communication networks including fixed networks, fiber optic, local providers, and rental of the automatic telephone exchange.

"In addition, Fiberstar is also engaged in the third layer telecommunication service provider agent business. MAP's effective ownership in Fiberstar is 100 percent," said Kiki.

Last February, the Salim Group through PT Megah Eraraharja released some of its ownership in DNET. Megah Eraraharja, who is one of the controllers of Indoritel Makmur Internasional, reported that it had sold 209,550,000 or 209.55 million shares on Friday (4/2/2022). The shares were sold at a price of IDR 3,050 per share.

Thus, Megah Eraraharja pocketed around IDR 639.13 billion from the sale of some of the shares.
