Ship Loaded With Basic Foods Shipwrecked In The Kerapu Bulungan River, North Kalimantan

TARAKAN - The wooden ship KM Mustika GT 26, which was loaded with a mixture of necessities, sank in the Kerapu River, in front of Tibi Island, Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan.

"KM Mustika GT 26 sank on Thursday morning WITA carrying necessities", said Head of Search and Rescue of Tarakan, Amiruddin, represented by Head of Operations, Dede Hariana, in Tarakan quoted by Antara, Thursday, March 3.

The ship is on the Tarakan-Nunukan route with four passengers in a safe condition.

"The cause of the incident was that the water was receding when KM Mustika crossed the waters and sank", said Dede.
