10 Teenage Boys From Johar Baru Who Are Arrested When They Want To Fight, Average Dropouts From School And Positive For Drugs
JAKARTA - The Johar Baru Police Reskim Unit is still investigating the motives for the brawls that occurred in five points of its territory. Although 10 perpetrators have been arrested, the development process continues.
The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Johar Baru Police, AKP Suprayogo, said that no one had ever been arrested for the ten perpetrators, but he strongly suspected that the perpetrators were old faces.
"If they haven't been arrested before, maybe (they) have joined. They haven't been caught yet, the name is here (the Johar Baru area) there are lots of people fighting. Someone was caught, maybe unfortunately he is now arrested," AKP Suprayogo said when confirmed by VOI, Monday, February 28.
The perpetrators were arrested when the convoy was circling looking for a brawl opponent. Several other groups were also arrested after the brawl.
"When he was riding a motorbike, we stopped and it turned out that he was carrying (sharp weapons). There was no (drugs) only sharp weapons were on him (on the perpetrator's body)," he said.
Meanwhile, regarding the results of the urine test, it was stated that six of the perpetrators were positive for shabu-shabu consumption. Kanit said they did not immediately use methamphetamine and then got into a brawl.
"On average, the user doesn't have to fight right away. The user can consume it every day, maybe if he uses it for a week it's still positive. So it's not that day he uses it, that day he fights, it's not like that," he said.
Of the 10 perpetrators who were arrested by the police, on average the teenagers had dropped out of school. The brawl arose because of mutual ridicule.
"Because it's spontaneous, because it's a loyal friend. There were no injuries," he said.
The modes of brawl carried out by the perpetrators also varied. A group of teenagers who are brawlers are desperate to do brawls out of a sense of solidarity with their friends.
"Sometimes they are combined. For example, high ground against a swamp village combined with Johar's children. (brawl) There is no organization," he said.
Previously reported, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Johar Baru Police arrested 10 brawlers in five separate places. From the hands of the perpetrators of the brawl, the police confiscated as many as 4 sharp weapons of various types used for the brawl.
Johar Baru Police Chief AKBP Edison said his staff arrested the perpetrators in Rawa Village, Tanah Tinggi, North Johar Baru, North Kramat and Paris City.
"We arrest the perpetrators in separate places. We secure weapons such as samurai, cerurit, machetes," said AKBP Edison to VOI, Saturday, February 26, evening.
Edison said that of the 10 perpetrators who were arrested, brawls broke out between teenagers due to ridicule of each other through social media (social media).
"They just mocked each other, they were the perpetrators of the brawl, the fights continued. When we caught them, sharp weapons were confiscated," he said.
