Bobby Nasution Wants North Sumatra Gerindra Support To Build Medan City
MEDAN - Mayor of Medan, North Sumatra, Bobby Nasution wants the support of the North Sumatran Gerindra Party DPD to collaborate with the local government in building the city of Medan.
"We hope that Gerindra of North Sumatra can collaborate with the Medan City Government to build the city of Medan, in particular for the welfare of the people in this area," said Bobby Nasution in Medan, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, February 22.
This was conveyed by him after attending the inauguration of the North Sumatra Gerindra Party DPD Office with the Governor of North Sumatra Edy Rahmayadi and a number of related officials on Jalan Sudirman, Medan.
The mayor hopes that the party bearing the Garuda bird's head will be more solid by always fighting for what the community wants, especially residents in the city of Medan.
Bobby also wished the Gerindra Party a happy 14th anniversary, even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic that has not yet passed in the country
The inauguration of the office in conjunction with the 14th Anniversary of the Gerindra Party of North Sumatra was held in a simple manner accompanied by social services for distributing basic commodities to the local community.
"Hopefully the North Sumatran Gerindra Party DPD will continue to be successful. Can provide input, advice and support to the Medan City Government to build Medan City to be even better in the future," he said.
Moreover, Bobby Nasution continued, he and the Deputy Mayor of Medan Aulia Rachman, who is also a Gerindra cadre, have been regional heads for almost a year in the capital city of North Sumatra Province.
