JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) welcomes the extension of the relaxation of the Government-borne Luxury Goods Sales Tax (PPnBM DTP) for new cars in 2022.

Marketing Director of Honda Prospect Motor Yusak Billy said that based on the rules set by the government, the company's products that received the facility were Honda Brio Satya, Honda Brio RS and Honda Mobilio E CVT.

"We welcome the government's initiative to extend the current incentives, while at the same time trying as much as possible to quickly meet consumer demand, which we believe will increase again," he said in an official statement, quoted on Tuesday, February 22.

According to Yusak, the relaxation of PPnBM DTP has contributed positively to the growth of the automotive industry and the economy in general last year.

"The PPnBM DTP incentive is valid from January 1, 2022 to March 31, 2022, so that consumers who have purchased a Honda car who received this incentive can contact the dealer to get a refund, according to the difference in the price of OTR (on the road) cars before and after the implementation of PPnBM DTP. it," he said.
