Bullied By The Investment Alert Task Force, Indra Kenz Cs Agree To Sign This Agreement

JAKARTA - The Investment Alert Task Force (SWI) continues to make efforts to protect the public from harmful investment activities because they do not comply with applicable regulations.

SWI Chairman, Tongam L. Tobing, explained the results of the summons of five influencer status people who were allegedly affiliated with an illegal financial platform. He said the Task Force estimates that the five people have a strong influence because they have quite a lot of followers.

“The five people are Indra Kenz (Indra Kesuma), Kenneth William, Vincent Raditya, Erwin Laisuman, and Doni Salman (Doni Muhammad Taufik). At the meeting, we told them to stop all promotional and training activities and delete content on their social media. Then, we asked them to sign a statement to remove all the contents", Tongam said at an online press conference on Monday, February 21.

Furthermore, the Chairperson of SWI also warned influencers and other affiliates not to promote or share materials related to illegal financial activities or brokers abroad.

"Therefore, influencers stop illegal promotional activities or brokers abroad as well as training that traps our society, because this training must also get permission from CoFTRA (Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency)", he said.

Tongam then explained that the illegal activities of binary options such as Binomo and others introduced by the five people were not by the prevailing laws and regulations in Indonesia.

"This binary option is a guess about things going up or down at a certain period which we see tends to be gambling", he said.

For information, the Investment Alert Task Force estimates that public losses due to illegal investments in the period 2011 to 2022 will reach IDR 117.5 trillion.
