Not Only Battered, The Motorbike Of The Television Journalist Who Was The Victim Of Persecution In Depok Was Also Trampled On By The Perpetrators
DEPOK - Rudi, a private television journalist who was a victim of the beating of an unknown person (OTK) in Depok, admitted that he had suffered a loss of millions of rupiah because his motorbike was damaged by being trampled on.
"In total there is Rp. 1 million. Motorcycles were damaged, dragged around and cost of medicines," said Rudi when contacted by VOI, Monday, February 21.
Rudi recounted the chronology of how he was abused that night on Jalan Aridho, Jatimulya, Cilodong, Depok, West Java, early Sunday, February 20.
Rudi said the incident began when he was about to return to his home in the Ambar complex, Cibonong, Bogor Regency. However, while crossing the Jatimulya area, a group of people suddenly attacked him.
"So they had a convoy in front of me, blocking the road, suddenly at the bridge behind them they blocked the road. I couldn't pass, they stopped suddenly and then hit me. Bro why did you hit me? Suddenly it hit," said Rudi.
"Kick me, squeeze me with a motorbike, I can't do anything about it when I'm beaten," he continued.
To save himself, Rudi fled to the Griya Melati Mas (GMM) security post and tried to find help. Rud suspects that the perpetrators who beat him numbered eight people. The perpetrators only stopped attacking him after local residents came out of the house hearing Rudi's screams.
"I shouted, the residents came out. Then they panicked and fled," he said.
As a result of the assault, the victim suffered serious injuries to the head, hands and face.
The case has been reported to the Depok Metro Police with the Report/complaint number: LP/ B/ 459/ II / 2022/ SPKT/ POLRES METRO DEPOK/ POLDA METRO JAYA.
Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations of the Depok Metro Police, Kompol Supriyadi, confirmed the case. He said the Depok Metro Police was investigating.
"They are still being investigated by the buser team of the Depok Metro Police," said Supriyadi.
