Joint Seal Officer For Cosmetics Stores Selling Heximer And Tramadol With A Turnover Of Rp. 1 Million Per Day In Tangerang

TANGERANG – The Health Service, Industry Service, and Tangerang Regency Satpol PP carried out activities together with the Food and Drug Monitoring Center (POM). As a result, officers found the circulation of illegal drugs that were included in list G at a cosmetic shop in Curug and Tigaraksa sub-districts, Friday, February 18.

"This raid activity with several OPDs was due to the rampant sale of List G drugs under the guise of a cosmetic shop and this needs to be handled more intensively," said Head of the Tangerang Regency POM Workshop, Wydia Savitri, quoting Antara on February 18.

Wydia explained that during the inspection, his party found a number of cosmetic shops selling illegal G-list drugs. Therefore, Loka POM Tangerang immediately took firm action by sealing the cosmetic shop.

"The cosmetic shop was immediately sealed by the Tangerang Regency Satpol PP, because it was proven to be selling List G drugs illegally," he said.

According to him, the G list drugs that are freely traded by the cosmetic shop are Heximer and Tramadol. In fact, there are several suspected fake Tramadols that are traded by the cosmetic shop.

"The sales value is almost Rp. 1 million per day. The drug sold by Heximer and plain tablets is suspected to be Tramadol. The drug is packaged in plastic clips containing 3-5 tablets/plastic. Visually, it is suspected that the Tramadol is fake," he said.

The Head of the Tangerang District Health Office, Desiriana Dinardianti, said that the public should always be vigilant and not take illegal G-list drugs.

In addition, he said, his party asked the public to buy drugs at facilities that already have a permit according to the provisions.

"Don't buy drugs at cosmetic stores or shops that don't have a permit according to the provisions," he said.

He reminded businessmen to apply for pharmacy licenses when selling hard drugs and not to sell drugs in a way that violates regulations because it can endanger public health.
