50 Health Workers In Cianjur Positive For COVID-19
CIANJUR - The Cianjur Health Service, West Java, recorded 50 health workers at a number of hospitals and health centers in the area were confirmed positive for COVID-19, based on the results of the antigen swab test.
"Dozens of health workers who were exposed were scattered in a number of health centers and referral hospitals for COVID-19 in the Cianjur area. They were known to have been exposed after undergoing tests, including an antigen 'swab test'," said Head of the Cianjur Health Office, Dr. Irvan Nur Fauzy, quoted by Antara, Thursday, February 17.
Dozens of health workers routinely undergo antigen swab tests that are held at every health facility, as the number of infections has increased again in the past month. The swab test is also for the family of health workers who are in close contact.
Health workers who tested positive underwent self-isolation at their respective homes. Only a few people are isolated in special villas, under the supervision of a public health service (puskesmas) consisting of a monitoring and supervision team, including members of the National Armed Forces (TNI)/National Police (Polri).
"Dozens of health workers who were exposed mostly complained of symptoms of fever, but their health conditions continued to improve. Although a number of health workers were exposed, services at a number of health centers continued as usual," he said.

"While most are undergoing self-isolation," he said.
