Jake Paul Was Told About The Requirements To Be Able To Fight Conor McGregor In The Boxing Ring

JAKARTA — Youtuber cum boxer, Jake Paul, has been told the terms and conditions he must meet to be able to fight mixed martial artist Conor McGregor.

Since last week Paul began to brag about wanting to get into the ring against McGregor. However, to be able to fight with the UFC star, he seems to have to meet certain conditions first.

This requirement was conveyed by Cian Cowley, who is a teammate of McGregor. Paul was told that to meet McGregor he would at least beat one of The Notorious' teammates.

"[He] has to try to beat one of us first before he gets a chance with the king," Cowley wrote on his Instagram account as reported by the Daily Mail.

Jake Paul moved to professional boxing two years ago. Since then he has beaten two mixed martial artists former UFC champion Tyron Woodley and Bellator champion Ben Askren.

However, his greatest desire is to have a boxing fight with McGregor. He said that McGregor was one of the reasons for him to pursue the world of professional boxing.

"I wanted to fight Conor McGregor. I was going to fight him in the boxing ring in Ireland. That's part of how this boxing journey started, I decided that I was going to fight McGregor and beat him," Paul said last week.

McGregor has only stepped into the professional boxing ring once in his career. It happened when he faced the legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather.

At that time, The Notorious had to admit the superiority of Mayweather. He lost by technical knockout (KO) in the 10th round.

A return to the boxing ring against Paul will no doubt be McGregor's priority right now. Moreover, he is expected to return to the UFC in 2022.

The Irish fighter has not fought in the Octagon since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier last summer.
