JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) continues to process flight transfers from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport to several other airports. One of the airports that receives many flights from Halim Airport is Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said the process of moving flights from Halim Airport took place from January 26 to February 10, 2022. All flights moving to Soekarno-Hatta Airport could run smoothly without any problems.
"For about 2 weeks, Soekarno-Hatta Airport served 9 scheduled commercial flights on average every day, which were previously carried out at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. Operations went very smoothly, including the availability of time slots, aircraft parking stands, boarding gate arrangements and also ground handling activities," Muhammad Awaluddin said in a statement quoted by Antara, Friday, February 10.
Awaluddin said that scheduled commercial airlines that moved to Soekarno-Hatta Airport were Citilink operating in Terminal 3, and Batik Air operating in Terminal 2.
Batik Air flight numbers that changed operations from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport to Soekarno-Hatta Airport were confirmed as many as 12 flight numbers (Flight Numbers), while Citilink had 10 flight numbers.
He said the airline was also optimizing a number of flight routes in line with this flight shift.
“For example, there is one airline operating the same route at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport and Soekarno-Hatta Airport as Jakarta - Surabaya. In line with flight transfers to Soekarno-Hatta, airlines can more optimally make flight arrangements," he said.
