The City Government Starts Demolition Of Buildings On Former BLBI Land In The Bogor Nirwana Residence Area
BOGOR - The City Government (Pemkot) of Bogor, West Java has started the demolition of buildings on the land of the former Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) area of Bogor Nirwana Residence (BNR), Empang Village, South Bogor District.
The demolition to carry out the plan for the construction of three government facilities was carried out by officers from the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), elements of the TNI/Polri, assets and apparatus in the area, which was attended by Deputy Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A Rachim.
"We have been advised by the Ministry of Finance through the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) to be responsible for land use. There are three uses that will be carried out at this location," said Dedie at the location quoted by Antara, Wednesday, February 9.
Dedie explained that the three facilities to be built are the first to provide land support for the BNR Station stoplet in the context of the construction of the Bogor-Sukabumi double track railway, including providing a parking area of about 2,000 meters.
Then, the Bogor City Environment Agency (DLH) needs a pool for their vehicles. Furthermore, the third is support for the Office of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) and the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) South Bogor.
"Therefore, the three development plans need to be supported by sterilization in the region. So that these plans can be realized within a specified time later," said Dedie.
The head of the Bogor City Satpol PP, Agustian Syah, also added that around 150 buildings were demolished by officers on the former BLBI land. The building consists of permanent buildings and semi-permanent illegal buildings. The buildings are in the form of houses, workshops, and others. The rest is vacant land.
"They have been there for a long time, some have even been there for decades. But previously we have given notices, some have been communicated by the city government," said Agus.
At the end of last November, the Task Force for Handling State Claims for the Liquidity Assistance Fund of Bank Indonesia (BLBI) will donate assets resulting from the payment of debts from BLBI debtors/obligors in the amount of Rp.492 billion to the Bogor City Government and seven ministries/agencies.
The assets are in the form of 10.2 hectares of ex-BLBI land planned by the Bogor City Government for a number of uses. First, 6 hectares in Katulampa Village for the center of government, 3.2 hectares in Empang Village, South Bogor District for train stops or the Bogor-Sukabumi double line stop.
Part of the land covering an area of 2,500 to 3,000 square meters will be used for the Bogor City Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) office and the Bogor City Environmental Service office.
The remaining, 1 hectare, said Dedie, the land is scattered and will be used to continue the Regional Ring Road (R3) development project whose area is also starting to develop.
