VIDEO: PPKM Level 3, Warteg Until Snacks Must Close At 9 PM

JAKARTA - The government has tightened the rules for the implementation of Level 3 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). This policy is in line with the soaring Covid-19 cases due to the Omicron Variant in Indonesia. Menkomarves Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said that one of the measures taken by the government was to limit the operating hours of small traders such as warteg and hawker stalls until 21:00 local time. Luhut said that several areas in Java and Bali now have PPKM Level 3 status. PPKM Level 3 will take effect from 8-14 February 2022.
