A Crowd Appears When Jokowi Visits North Sumatra, PKS: President Should Be A Role Model For Prokes
JAKARTA - Member of the House of Representatives Commission IX, Alifudin, commented on the crowd during the visit of President Joko Widodo and his entourage to North Sumatra (Sumut). He also asked the government to learn from the results of the previous evaluation of the handling of COVID-19.
"Before making a crowd so that people entered the ditch, now it is increasing and they should avoid the crowd, eh, this actually creates a crowd," said Alifudin to reporters, Monday, February 7.
The PKS politician reminded that the Omicron variant of COVID-19 cannot be taken lightly. Therefore, according to Alifudin, for whatever reason crowds should be avoided. Moreover, the leadership of the country is imitated by the people.
“Because the president must be a role model for the citizens. If you become a role model for the citizens, you must set an appropriate example, such as implementing the Health protocol," said Alifudin.
The legislator for the West Kalimantan electoral district then recalled the words of one of the figures regarding the term ABS or as long as Mr Happy. According to him, the term should be avoided.
"Don't let this ABS appear because President Jokowi is happy with such things, hopefully the allegations are wrong, and the president wants strict health protocols to be applied in public places," said Alifudin.
In addition, Alifudin also touched on the health protocol related to crowds that must be a concern. As in the Jabodetabek Commuter Line train, according to him, there must be clear restrictions on passengers between standing and sitting in the train carriages.
"Or on planes where there are empty seats in the middle and there are also ones that are not empty. We must both maintain health protocols, especially avoiding crowds and maintaining distance, and don't forget that vaccination achievements must continue and be evenly distributed," said Alifudin.
