Previously, the Sukoharjo Police had made a preemptive effort to socialize the ban on non-standard or non-manufactured exhausts to auto parts shops, workshops and the automotive community in its area, Central Java Province.

According to the Head of Traffic at the Sukoharjo Police, AKP Heldan Pramoda Wardhana, preemptive efforts were made to ban the use of Brong exhaust for motorcycle repair shop owners, exhaust sales shops, the Automotive Mechanical Engineering Community, and students at the Sukoharjo Muhammadiyah Vocational School.

According to the Head of Traffic, the socialization of the ban on the use of exhaust is a reference to Law no. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation.

He said the Sukoharjo Police during the 2021 Candi Candle Operation activities managed to secure as many as 80 violators with motorized vehicles using the exhaust which were confiscated by officers, and then destroyed.
