There Is One Baby Patient At The Depok Hospital Positive For COVID-19
DEPOK – The number of confirmed patients in Depok City has increased. Even the Mayor of Depok, Mohammad Idris, the City Government of Depok, asked the public to maintain a Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS) by maintaining a healthy diet, exercising, and getting adequate rest.
The Depok City Government (Pemkot) noted that as of February 1, 2022, there were 1,083 positive confirmed cases of COVID-19. The spike in COVID-19 cases has increased the occupancy rate for treatment rooms at the Depok Regional General Hospital (RSUD).
The Managing Director (Director) of the Depok City Hospital, Devi Mayori, said that his party is currently treating 19 COVID-19 patients, one of which is a baby.
"On average, we treat adult patients. But currently, there is one COVID-19 patient who is still a baby," Devi said to reporters, Wednesday, January 2.
Devi explained that the baby had been treated by his side since Tuesday, January 1. However, Devi could not confirm whether the baby was exposed to the Omicron variant of COVID-19 or not. Because until now they are still waiting for the results of the examination.

"We can't confirm yet, because we haven't received the results of the examination," she said.
Devi explains the characteristics of people affected by the Omicron variant. According to her, patients who are exposed to Omicron the symptoms they experience are more similar to those of severe flu.
"Such a sore throat, cough, runny nose, fever, and muscle aches. The symptoms are more or less like the severe flu. But we don't want to conclude because we have to wait for the results of the examination to be accurate," she concluded.
