JAKARTA - YouTube Music has a new feature that makes all devices more connected. Now, the music streaming application offers a song queue synchronization feature between devices.

With this feature, users can continue playing music without interruption when switching devices. If previously the user was playing a song on the phone, the music queue will remain the same when the song is continued on the laptop.

Previously, the Now Playing queue on the Android and iOS apps worked separately. Although the web version can retrieve mobile data, the listening experience across multiple gadgets is not fully connected.

Now when opening the app, users will immediately see the last song played on the mini player. The last song display will appear with information about its original device such as 'From your iPhone'. This description will disappear when the music is played again.

The YouTube Music system will prioritize the last playback session to update the existing queue. That way, the song list on the tablet or browser will always be the same as the smartphone that the user uses.

This music control convenience is very helpful for users who have more than one device. YouTube Music is now more integrated and responsive when used on any device, whether mobile or desktop.

This update seems to still be rolling out gradually. If you haven't seen this update in the YouTube Music app, make sure that the app you're using is up to date.
