The Huawei RuralCow solution is specifically designed for hard-to-reach areas, this solution is able to integrate fronthaul and radio units, thus eliminating the need for traditional backhaul, baseband units, and extensive power supply.
Its fast and low-cost application model makes it ideal for the Universal Service Obligation (USO) region, offering scalable blueprints for realizing digital inclusion across 17,000 islands in Indonesia.
With the operation of this new solution, residents of Legundi Island can access reliable 4G connectivity without requiring additional infrastructure or equipment.
