Leaks Of The Galaxy S26 Series Reveals Weighted Each Model, Two Weighter, One Lighter

JAKARTA - Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S26 series early next year, and a series of rumors about this device continue to emerge. Now, a recent leak from trusted sources reveals details of the weights of each Galaxy S26 model.

The famous Ice Universe tipster through Weibo mentions that the Galaxy S26 will weigh 164 grams, while the Galaxy S26 Plus is said to weigh 191 grams. This figure makes both slightly heavier than its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 weighing 162 grams and the Galaxy S25 Plus weighing 190 grams.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will reportedly weigh 214 grams, which means it is lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra which weighs 218 grams. This weight is also lighter than the previous leak which said the Ultra model would weigh 217 grams.

The trend of weight reduction in the Ultra model seems to continue. The Galaxy S24 Ultra itself has a weight of 232 grams, but Samsung has managed to cut 14 grams in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Now, the S26 Ultra has again received a weight cut even though it is only a few grams.

This leak raises discussions about user preferences. Some may want a heavier device as long as it brings an increase in battery capacity and camera quality. But some prefer lighter devices even though there are no major changes to the battery or camera.

Apart from that, device weight remains an important factor in user experience, especially on premium phones that usually have larger sizes. With this leak, Samsung appears to be playing a balance between lightweight designs and improved technical features for the upcoming Galaxy S26 series.
