Roblox Accused Of Deceiving Parents About Child Safety On Its Platform

JAKARTA Texas Attorney General Ken senjak, sued Roblox on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Through this lawsuit, Roblox is accused of defrauding parents about the risk of children's safety.

The online gaming platform, which is popular in various parts of the world, including Indonesia, is referred to as a 'struce for child predators and sexual exploitation'. Attorney General from Kentucky and Louisiana is known to have joined this lawsuit.

"We can't let platforms like Roblox continue to operate as a digital playground for predators,"dors said in a statement.

After this lawsuit was filed, Roblox gave a firm statement. The company bought itself by stating that it has a strong security protocol, unlike the allegations.

Roblox also claims that they have implemented various controls to eliminate criminals and protect their users. One of them is control for parents to limit communication on their children's accounts.

Parents and guardians can also limit content that enters their children's accounts. This shows Roblox's commitment to strengthening its security even though control is still in the hands of parents.

In addition, the San Mateo-based company, California, also does not allow users to share images. In a larger effort to keep the platform safe, Roblox admits to actively cooperating with law enforcement.

Roblox also expressed his disappointment with the mitigation lawsuit. According to him,ition should work together to find a solution to the 'challenges in the industry'. For Roblox, this lawsuit is based on a 'mis-representation and sensational claim'.

In its latest third-quarter report, Roblox recorded an average of 151.5 million daily active users. Data in 2024 shows that 40 percent of the daily active users are under the age of 13. There is no new data yet for this year.
