OnePlus 15 Has A Monster Battery Of 7,300 MAh, The Biggest In OnePlus History

JAKARTA - Ahead of its official launch on October 27 in China, OnePlus again made a scene in the gadget world with confirmation of the main specifications of OnePlus 15 including its battery which is now the largest in the history of the OnePlus flagship line.

In an official poster released this morning, OnePlus announced that its newest flagship phone will be powered by a 7,300 mAh battery, accompanied by support for fast charging of 120W cables, 50W wireless charging, and bypass charging to keep the temperature stable while playing games or watching old videos.

In terms of appearance, OnePlus 15 is equipped with a 6.78-inch X3 OLED screen made by BOE with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 165Hz which will spoil gamers and multitasking users. The under-screen fingerprint sensor now uses ultrasonic technology, equivalent to Samsung's premium flagship.

This device performance is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm's latest high-end processor, combined with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. For maximum visual experience, OnePlus also added a gaming-specific P3 Display chip.

The camera is still a mystery, but rumors say the configuration of the 50-megapixel camera includes the main Sony LYT-700 sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto periscope with the Samsung JN5 sensor.

While the global version of OnePlus 15 has appeared in the Geekbench database, it shows similar specifications: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 12GB RAM, and Android 16. Global launch is expected to take place in November, with its first likely debut in India on November 13.

With a battery of this size, the super fast refill speed, and the AI-ready power of the latest Snapdragon, OnePlus seems ready to challenge the dominance of Samsung and Xiaomi in the ultra-premium flagship segment.
