JAKARTA Nano Banana, Gemini's advanced image-making tool, has now been expanded by Google. The tool is already available in AI Mode for Google Search and in Google Lens object search tools.

This feature is a big hit for Google because of its convenience in producing images of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Thanks to this capability, the number of Gemini application downloads has increased dramatically, both on Android and on iOS.

Seeing this success, Google seems to want to increase the number of their other applications. Therefore, Nano Banana is now available to users participating in the AI Mode Search Lab program.

In Search AI Mode, the feature can be accessed via the 'plus' icon that appears in the bottom left corner of the command box. When the icon is tapped, a new menu will be displayed. This menu offers a choice of Gallery, Camera, and Image Create option whose icon is decorated with banana emoji.

If the user selects the Create Image option, the command box will change to Explain your image. Users can then enter text prompts to create images from scratch or add images to be edited further by AI.

The resulting image can be downloaded and shared, complete with the Gemini Spark watermark in the lower right corner. Integration of Nano Banana on Google Lens also looks prominent. This feature comes in the form of a new tab called 'Create'.

This New button can be used to retrieve, create, and share AI images. Interestingly, the Create button can use the front camera to take selfies. Users can press the banana connoisseur button to take pictures, then the image can be processed with an additional command.

Amid the expansion of the integration of Nano Banana, Google is also expanding the reach of AI Mode as a whole. This week, AI Mode was launched into 35 new languages and more than 40 new countries or regions. With this expansion, AI Mode is now available in 200 countries as a whole.
