Oracle Founder Has Become The Richest Person In The World, Defeats Elon Musk

JAKARTA - Elon Musk was shifted as the richest person in the world by Larry Ellison, co-founder of Oracle. His wealth increased following the soaring shares of Oracle.

According to a report from the Bloomberg Billionaire index quoted by the BBC, Ellison's wealth then jumped to $393 billion on Wednesday morning, September 10, surpassing Musk's fortune of $385 billion.

Ellison's total wealth jumped approximately 40%, driven by the surprising bright outlook of the database's software company for the cloud infrastructure business and artificial intelligence (AI) deals.

But unfortunately, the company's share price has lost part of the profits at the end of the day, and put Musk back as the richest person in the world.

Before being briefly replaced by Ellison, Musk had held the title of the richest person in the world for almost a year.

For information, Ellison was Oracle's chief executive until 2014, and now he has become chairman and head of the company's technology.

Oracle also emerged as one of TikTok's potential buyers, a low-principles company-owned app, ByteDance. After TikTok faced a ban in the US, unless they let go of their holdings in ByteDance.
