InterSystems Encourage Digital Health Innovation With AI At Asia Healthcare Summit 2025

JAKARTA InterSystems highlighted the importance of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in making Indonesia a pillar of digital health innovation in Asia. This was conveyed in the Asia Healthcare Summit 2025.

In front of the leaders of the health sector, InterSystems Founder and CEO Terry Ragon discussed the importance of managing data well. This needs to be considered in order to build a more integrated and intelligent AI-based system.

"We are at the beginning of a major change in the world of computing when we enter the AI era," Terry said on Wednesday, September 3. Although currently the momentum is strong enough, the health sector in Asia is considered to still face quite serious challenges.

Some of the challenges mentioned are fragmented system problems, digital literacy that are still not evenly distributed, to public concerns about data security. This needs to be addressed according to Luciano Brustia, Regional Managing Director of InterSystems.

To answer this challenge, the data technology provider company introduced InterSystems IRIS for Health, a data platform designed to store or collect data from various real-time connected systems.

This platform is also claimed to be ready to be combined with AI. Through this solution, hospitals can modernize gradually without having to replace the old infrastructure. Various leading hospitals, such as EMC Healthcare and Pondok Indah Group, have adopted this technology.

In addition, there is also a new capability in the form of AI agents at IntelliCare InterSystems. This technology is designed as an assistant for medical personnel to help plan and execute tasks. With this technology, medical personnel can save time at work.
