Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Will Launch Faster Than Expected

JAKARTA - Samsung is reportedly preparing for the fourth Galaxy Unpacked event this year on September 29 in South Korea.

Samsung has long developed an increase in generation for its foldable device, which may be called the Galaxy G Fold. Based on the animated files found, this device will have a double hinge design, which popularly despite being inappropriate referred to as foldable threefolds. This device is expected to launch in the coming months, and now a new leak has finally revealed when we can mark the calendar for the event.

According to Ice Universe leaker on Weibo, Samsung will release the Galaxy Z TriFold in South Korea on September 29. The company is also expected to launch the XR Project Moohan headset and new smart glasses titled 'Galaxy Glasses' at the reported Galaxy Unpacked event.

September 29 has previously been linked to the launch of Project Moohan headset, but this is the first time the event has also been linked to the launch of new foldable devices and AI glasses. Project Moohan headset is rumored to be on sale in South Korea on October 13, 2025.

If Samsung follows the same schedule for the Galaxy Z TriFold/Galaxy G Fold, it will align with the availability window in the fourth quarter of 2025 as mentioned in previous leaks.

The price of the Galaxy Z TriFold is estimated to reach more than 4 million won (Rp46 million), which is not surprising given the complexity of the expensive design and components used. However, the price remains relatively high. Samsung also seems to be planning to sell this device only in China and South Korea, so Samsung fans in other regions should not be too hopeful about global availability.
