XAI Presents 2.5 Open Source Version Of Grok

JAKARTA Elon Musk announced the presence of his old version of Grok on open source or open source. The Grok 2.5 model, which was released last year, can now be accessed on the Honggging Face platform.

This is a good decision, especially for developers. Grok 2.5 is one of the most advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) models ever xAI, Musk's company, released and interested in this model.

With the release of this version, developers and researchers can now access, study and modify the weight of the model that formed Grok 2.5. Technological activists can now also identify weaknesses, fix bugs, and create applications with Grok 2.5.

Interestingly, this isn't the only open source AI model presented by xAI. Musk stated in his post that, "(Grok 3) a source will be made open in about 6 months."

If you expect a newer model, you will need to wait even longer. Grok 4 is still a closed AI model and this may last until the next version of Grok launches.

Currently, xAI is still highlighting the ability of the Grok 4 model. In fact, Musk describes Grok 4 as the maximum "AI finder of truth" to show his ability to respond.

Grok 4 is believed to have a high level of accuracy. Even so, this AI model caused controversy some time ago because it provided answers to sensitive questions.

The chatbot is accused of having a tendency towards a 'white genocide' conspiracy theory and doubts the number of Holocaust victims. The AI also describes itself as "MechaHitler."
