Folding Phone 3 Samsung Galaxy G Fold Makes A Scene Ahead Of Unpacked!

Samsung is reportedly preparing to launch a big surprise at the Galaxy Unpacked event which will be held on July 9, 2025. In addition to the long-awaited launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, a leak from Setsuna Digital on Weibo said that Samsung may also introduce its three-screen foldable phone that has long been rumored.

Although it will be announced this July, the three-fold phone will only be available on the market in October. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 itself is expected to start shipping to consumers in August, meaning the pre-order period will last longer than usual.

Samsung has also started opening a reservation program for the latest Galaxy line, which provides Samsung credit of 50 US dollars (equivalent to Rp816,500) for buyers who pre-order, as well as the opportunity to win a prize of 5,000 US dollars (around Rp81.6 million).

This phone is believed to be a Samsung Flex G or also known as the Galaxy G Fold, with a two-peak-folding design into which the main screen is about 9.96 inches in size and an external screen of 6.49 inches. However, this device likely does not support S Pen because it does not have a digitizer.

Another leak states that the Galaxy G Fold will have titanium and aluminum body, equipped with 16GB RAM, and run Snapdragon chipsets. Production will be very limited, which is only about 200,000 units, and is likely only available in limited quantities at the initial launch of a strategy similar to the Galaxy Z Fold SE.

Interestingly, although there have been many leak renders from Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, there are not a single official image of this triple foldable phone yet. This raises two possibilities: Samsung is very strict in maintaining confidentiality, or this device will only be briefly introduced without a full launch.

If true, then the Samsung Unpacked 2025 can display up to four new foldable devices: the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Flip 7 FE, and the Galaxy G Fold. However, the Galaxy G Fold is likely to be an expensive niche device and shows the greatness of Samsung's technology over mass products.
