JAKARTA - Huawei is again making a breakthrough in the smartphone world by announcing the Pura 80 series, which is led by the most advanced model, Huawei Pura 80 Ultra. This device presents a unique innovation in the camera sector, with a double lens system that can move on top of a telephoto periscope sensor, making it one of the most exciting camera phones of the year.

The main highlight of Pura 80 Ultra is a 1/1.28-inch periscope camera equipped with two separate lenses on top of one sensor. Huawei implements an automated lens movement mechanism that allows users to switch between two different focal length, resulting in 3.7x and 9.4x optical zoom, complete with sensor-shift-based OIS support.

With this system, users can take photos with an aperture f/2.4 (83mm) or f/3.6 (212mm), making the flexibility of the optical zoom on one camera even more extraordinary.

It doesn't stop there, Pura 80 Ultra is also equipped with a 50MP main camera with a 1-inch RYYB-type sensor equipped with variable aperture (f/1.6 - f/4.0) and OIS. Huawei claims that this camera has a dynamic range of up to 16EV, which is 15 times higher than its predecessor, Pura 70 Ultra. This means that the image will have extraordinary details both in the bright and dark areas, as well as impressive video performances.

On the back, this phone also carries a 40MP (13mm) ultrawide camera and a 1.5MP multi-spectral color sensor. Huawei also includes various photography presets such as Nature, Film, Movie, and Cartoon to provide a unique style for photos.

The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra comes with a 6.8-inch quad-curved LTPO OLED resolution Full HD + screen, supports an adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate, and second-generation Kunlun Glass protection. The screen is capable of peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.

This phone is equipped with 16GB RAM, with 512GB and 1TB storage options, as well as running the HarmonyOS 5.1 operating system. Power supported by 5,700mAh batteries with support for 100W cable fast charging and 80W wireless. Not to forget, this device also has water-resistant certification and IP68 and IP69 dust.

The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra was announced in Black and Gold, starting at CNY 9,999 (around Rp. 22.6 million). Pre-orders in China have been opened, but there is no information regarding its global availability.
