OPPO Find N5 Present In Indonesia, Thinbanded Phone At A Price Of IDR 27 Million

JAKARTA OPPO has finally launched its newest foldable phone to the Indonesian market. OPPO Find N5, the world's thinest foldable phone, can now be purchased in various e-commerce and official cellphone manufacturers.

In accordance with the company's claim, OPPO Find N5 is very thin with a thickness of 8.93mm in folded condition. Meanwhile, the thickness of this phone reaches 4.91mm or equivalent to a pile of two coins in open screen conditions.

Even though it is thin, OPPO still prioritizes battery capacity on these foldable phones. The company does not reduce its battery capacity. In fact, when compared to folding phones from other brands, the OPPO Find N5 battery is much larger.

"Do we reduce (the need)? No, and we don't believe in efforts to reduce device demands, especially in our flagship. This is a thin phone, but the most powerful in the world with 56100mAh in it," explained Patrick Owen, CMPO OPPO Indonesia, at the launch event on Wednesday, April 30.

By combining 56,000mAh batteries with Snapdragon 8 Elite, the N5 Find OPPO can be used for streaming for 25 hours, conducting online meetings for 8.6 hours, and playing games non-stop for up to 7 hours.

This foldable phone supports the 80W Superfast Charging so that it can fill in in 47 minutes. This device also supports 50W Wireless Charging.

During the launch, Patrick also highlighted the weight and durability of OPPO Find N5. This foldable phone measures 229gram and is equivalent to cotton when weighed. However, this device was not damaged even though it was used as a swing support.

"Find N5 comes with dual shielded flexible screen, three layers of protection," Patrick said. "Very strong against collisions and still safe, 70 percent more resilient than other foldables in the industry."

This phone is available in two colors, namely the Cosmic Black Matte andter White. As part of the disability, this device is the only clay phone with IPX8 and IPX9 certification so it is water resistant with a depth of 1.5 meters and high-pressure water resistance.

OPPO Find N5 can connect with iOS even if the system used is Android-based. In fact, this device is capable of connecting with Macs and users can control the device directly from the phone screen.

With all this sophistication, including this Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered feature named OPPO AI, OPPO Find N5 is priced at IDR 27.999 million for 16GB + 512GB capacity.

OPPO Find N5 is the first foldable phone with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The Samsung Galaxy Fold 7 is predicted to use a similar chipset, moreover, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 also uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

As another alternative, the Huawei Mate X6 is sold at almost the same price, but with a battery capacity of only 4990mAh. This device with the HarmonyOS operating system (OS) uses the Kirin 9020 chipset.
