WhatsApp Presents Music Adding Features For Status

JAKARTA The status upload on WhatsApp now feels more attractive thanks to the addition of music. After waiting a few months, this feature is finally widely available to users on Android and iOS.

According to WhatsApp, sharing moments of life with friends and family will feel more alive if the moments shared use a musical background. This has been done by some users even though it is a hassle.

Usually, users have to use the third application to add a music background to their uploads on WhatsApp status. However, now it is no longer necessary because users can directly add music from within the platform.

They only need to open the WhatsApp application, then tap Add Status in the Update tab. Make sure to upload images or videos if you want to use this feature. The reason is, the addition of music does not work on text-shaped status.

After selecting the desired photo or video, tap the music notification icon at the top of the screen. After that, select the desired music from the emerging song library. As a form of recommendation, users will see the Popular part of Indonesia in the library.

If not in the popular section, users can search for their music manually by writing the title of the song or artist in the search bar. There are millions of songs that can be searched for in the library, from popular ones to not.

"Our location provides millions of songs to choose from. Your status is fully encrypted so WhatsApp can't see what you're sharing, and we don't know what songs you add to your Status," WhatsApp said.

Even though it has been launched, this feature is not yet available globally. WhasApp is still expanding its features in the next few weeks. If you haven't got the music addition feature, you need to wait until the expansion is complete.
