Indosat Collaborates With Bank Saqu To Expand Financial Inclusion

JAKARTA - Indosat Oordeo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) announced its collaboration with Bank Saqu to expand digital financial inclusion, and present significant market opportunities through strong synergy.

As a first step in this collaboration, Bank Saqu's digital banking services have now been integrated into the IOH application, providing not only seamless connectivity but also easier access to financial solutions.

Through this collaboration, IOH will use customer information and propensity model to ensure that the digital banking services offered are right on target and according to user needs.

"Our innovative collaboration with Bank Saqu is a manifestation of our commitment to provide a world-class digital experience that is able to empower the Indonesian people. With customer insight and propensity model, we can effectively reach the right users," said Ritesh Kumar Singh, Director and Chief Commercial Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT Bank Jasa Jakarta Leo Koesmanto is also committed to helping the community, especially solopreneurs, to obtain innovative and easy-to-use digital banking solutions, as well as encouraging positive financial habits.

"This collaboration introduces innovative banking features to Indosat customers. One of the features is Tabungmatic, the first automatic saving feature in Indonesia," explained Leo.

Leo also explained that this feature will automatically round up daily transactions via QRIS in the Bank Saqu application, and save returns from the transaction into the Pocket Booster.

"This collaboration is the first step of more innovation with IOH in bridging the digital financial gap in Indonesia." he said. From now on until May 31, 2025, Indosat customers who open the Saqu Bank account have the opportunity to get a balance bonus of up to IDR 100,000.
