East Ventures Launches Indo Build AI, Platform For AI Innovators In Indonesia

JAKARTA - East Ventures, a leading venture capital company (VC), launched Indo Build AI, an artificial intelligence platform (AI) for learning, building, and showing AI-based solutions in facing real challenges in Indonesia.

Indo Build AI was built with the aim of encouraging knowledge exchanges among AI innovators through a series of key activities, which will culminate in Demo Day.

"Indo Build AI is here to bridge the gap by providing collaboration and innovation platforms. This initiative reflects our commitment to forming an AI ecosystem in Indonesia," said Willson Weather, Co-Founder and Managing Partner East Ventures in a statement.

Indo Build AI consists of several programs, such as:

Indo Build AI workshop (February 26): Technical or technical workshop for one day which presents AI experts from AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and Google. This session will discuss the application of AI in startups, AI's generating adoption, and new opportunities in the AI sector.

Then there is the ideaation process for workshop participants (February 26 - March 5), the announcement of the elected participants on March 10, and the event at auDemo Day 13 March.

At the top event, the innovators will introduce their AI-based solutions before a jury of experts. The two selected winners will receive cash prizes, various benefits, as well as support from East Ventures and program partners.

"We invite innovators to develop transformative solutions that have a local impact and reimagine Indonesia's future with a mature AI," concluded Willson.

Willson also emphasized that Indo Build AI's initiative illustrates East Ventures' commitment to establishing an AI ecosystem in the country.
