Apple May Release Vision Pro 2 Headset In 2026

JAKARTA The news of the creation of the second generation Vision Pro circulated a lot at the end of last year so that this device is expected to be released in 2025. However, this rumor is unlikely to be realized.

According to Bloomberg estimates, this spatial computer technology will be released next year as Apple has a more pressing goal, namely creating headsets at a lower price. The company wants to boost Vision's sales figures.

Although there is no guarantee that a cheaper Apple headset will be launched first, some evidence shows that the iPhone manufacturer is focusing on developing the device. In fact, Vision is already registered under the code name N107.

When a device is named a code, Apple is definitely developing its prototype. However, the development of this cheap headset did not go easy because Apple needed to overhaul the design and reduce things.

Meanwhile, analyst Ming Chi-Kuo has a different information leak. If Bloomberg expects that a cheap Vision headset will roll out before the second generation Vision Pro, Ming reports that Vision will be postponed until 2027.

This delay is certainly still related to the difficulty of redesigning Vision Pro to become a cheap headset. On the other hand, Ming said that Vision Pro 2 will be produced in the second half of this year.

The headset, which was previously launched at a price of IDR 50 million, is expected to adopt the M5 chipset. That way, Apple can add many new features based on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
