JAKARTA - Clubhouse has introduced the new Links feature, which is still in the testing phase. Where users can share links to spaces on their platform.

Clubhouse Links, which started rolling out in beta on iOS yesterday, allows users to share a private link to a Clubhouse room in a calendar invite, just as people already do with a scheduled phone call or video chat feature.

“Many people have told us they prefer a private Clubhouse room to a phone call or video chat. There's something fun about looking at photos of people and knowing who's talking without feeling the pressure to turn on your camera," said Clubhouse.

"It would be great if you could take a private Clubhouse room link and include it in a calendar invite, as you can with most video chat services. Now you can."

This link can be shared with friends, family or anyone who wants to chat privately. Whenever people join the link, the creator will receive a notification and allow them to enter the room to start a conversation.

In addition, this feature also makes it easier for moderators to re-listen to a missed conversation, before moving on to a larger discussion room. Users who have access to the feature can tap +Room in the app, then select 'Gather a room using a links' where the link can be shared via text, calendar invitation or event list.

Not only the Links feature, Clubhouse also presents a new icon, namely Mandiee Martinez for the October 2021 period. Martinez is the creator and founder of the Latin community.

He has a room called Chingano AF, which was created as a place for all Latinos to be able to explore their culture and identity. Martinez has won the hearts of many at the Clubhouse and the community with his very distinctive laugh, and how he has heart-to-heart conversations.
