Earlier, Windows 11 Now Available In New Zealand And Beyond

JAKARTA - Windows 11 is now officially available for download. Microsoft also launched Windows 11-powered hardware worldwide on October 5. The company has also made this OS update available earlier to eligible devices in New Zealand and beyond.

If you have purchased a Windows 10 machine recently, that means you should be able to upgrade to Windows 11 by now.

For everyone, the rollout of Windows 11 will be gradual. Microsoft says existing and eligible Windows 10 devices for the Windows 11 upgrade will begin upgrading today.

However, most of the new hardware will receive the upgrade soon. Microsoft said, "We expect all eligible Windows 10 devices to be offered towards upgrading to Windows 11 by mid-2022."

Users can check to see if a Windows 11 update is available in the Windows Update section of the Windows 10 settings area, or users can even skip the queue and upgrade immediately using Microsoft's new Installation Assistant.

The new Surface devices will also start shipping on October 5 with Windows 11 pre-installed. It's rolling out, along with new PCs and laptops from Asus, Lenovo, and HP. Other PC makers like Acer, Dell, and Samsung will also be releasing new Windows 11 devices soon.
