These 9 Leaked Camera Features Of The Latest Google Pixel 6 And Pixel 6 Pro

JAKARTA - This year Google will soon bring Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro with good camera support from Samsung, and this time the latest leak reveals that the Pixel 6 series camera will also get powerful features.

Previous reports stated that the Google Pixel 6 will come with a 50MP Samsung GN1 main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. In addition, the Google Pixel 6 Pro will also use a 4x 48MP optical periscope zoom lens, and will come with a 12MP front camera.

The XDA Developers team managed to reveal some new features that have never been seen on Pixel devices before. The features were discovered via a leaked internal build of the Google Camera app, but it's unknown if this feature will be released globally.

Google itself is known to be pinning its Tensor processor, which will use a 2+2+4 core architecture, with up to 12GB of RAM. There are rumors that the phone will be released on October 28.

Here are some of the Google Camera features that XDA Developers managed to reveal, quoted from Gizchina, Monday, September 27.

Ultra-Wide-Angle Front Camera and Video Recording

The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro's ultra-wide front cameras will have two zoom levels, 0.7x and 1.0X. The main camera's recording capabilities also support up to 4K 60fps, but the ultra-wide-angle and telephoto cameras support up to 4K 30fps recording.

When recording at 4K 60fps, the maximum digital zoom factor is 7X. If the user is recording at a lower specification, the maximum zoom can reach 20X. When shooting photos, the maximum zoom can also reach 20X.

There is also a white balance feature, Google has plans to develop this feature in the past. However, XDA Developers isn't really sure if the company will roll out this feature, considering it goes against the brief design concept of the Google Camera App.

Magic Eraser

Next, there is the Magic Eraser feature. This new camera feature is codenamed Switzerland. It allows users to easily remove certain people and objects in the background from distracting images. This feature is expected to use the artificial intelligence acceleration core of the Tensor processor.

Face Deblurring

Google will also bring the Face Deblurring feature, where the principle of this function is to use an ultra-wide angle lens to take additional photos at once when the main camera is turned on HDR to take photos.

This can avoid blurring caused by human face shaking during HDR multi-photo shooting. It is hoped that this function will also use the core AI operations of the Tensor processor.

Scene Lock

Then the Scene Lock feature, this function is codenamed sapphire and is expected to be similar to the AF/AE lock function. The purpose of this feature is still not clear.

Bluetooth Microphone Support

Although the details of this feature can not be ascertained. However, it will most likely allow voice recording via the Bluetooth headset microphone.

Nima Aesthetics

This feature appears to be related to dynamic photos, and will probably use the Tensor processor to speed up calculations.

Baby Fashion

When this feature is active, the camera can automatically capture baby's expressions and movements to capture funny moments.
