JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital officially determined the winners of the 2026 Radio Frequency Band 700 MHz and 2.6 GHz User Selection after all stages of the selection, including the objection period, were completed.

Based on the Decree of the Minister of Communication and Digital, the Winner of the 700 MHz Radio Frequency Band User Selection is PT XLSmart Telecom Sejahtera Tbk (XLSmart) with an allocation of 30 MHz bandwidth, PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) with an allocation of 20 MHz bandwidth, and PT Indosat Tbk (Indosat) with an allocation of 20 MHz bandwidth.

Meanwhile, the winner of the 2.6 GHz Radio Frequency Band User Selection is PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) with an allocation of 80 MHz bandwidth, PT Indosat Tbk (Indosat) with a bandwidth allocation of 60 MHz, PT XLSmart Telecom Sejahtera Tbk (XLSmart) obtained an allocation of 50 MHz bandwidth.

Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid emphasized that this additional spectrum will increase the capacity of the national mobile network so that the public can enjoy faster, more stable, and increasingly affordable mobile internet services.

"We certainly hope that the completion of this auction process can encourage a better and faster national digital transformation. And provide real and equitable benefits for the community," said Meutya in a press conference on Tuesday, July 22.

As part of the commitment of the selection winners, the selection winners are also required to provide 4G services in 538 villages and sub-districts that currently do not have or have weak signals, spread from Sumatra to Papua.

The combination of reliable 700 MHz (low-band) bands to reach the corners of buildings, combined with the 2.6 GHz (mid-band) band as the main capacity that supports the reliability of 5G services, will ensure the national speed target is achieved.

Furthermore, Meutya explained, after completing the 1.4 GHz radio frequency auction process at the end of 2025, Komdigi will prepare the frequency utilization process in 900 MHz to meet the connectivity needs that directly impact the community.
