IOS 15 Update, Apple's FaceTime Can Go Through Android

JAKARTA - Through the 2021 Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) Apple launched the iOS 15 beta developer version update. This operating system will later improve iPhone performance.

Citing Gizchina, Tuesday, June 8, Apple claims, iOS 15 can make FaceTime video calls more natural and look real. The company also launched the SharePlay sharing experience, and the arrival of a more secure iCloud.

Additionally, the new version of FaceTime will bring spatial audio technology to real-time video calls. With the help of multiple microphones and built-in audio processing algorithms, it can make video calls have more realistic sound effects.

Now FaceTime also has a “Sound Enhancement Mode” which can avoid noise. Apple uses an algorithm, so you can get clear sound even in noisy environments.

Exclusive video calling links and sharing support to chat, calendar, and email are also being brought to FaceTime by Apple. This link supports opening via a computer browser on Android and Windows devices.

Furthermore, Apple also officially announced the upgrade of iCloud to iCloud+. The upgrade includes privacy protection for users that introduces new features, such as hidden email addresses, HomeKit video extension service, and an innovative online privacy service (iCloud Private Relay). All of them can be activated at no additional cost.

Current iCloud customers will be automatically upgraded to iCloud+. All iCloud+ plans can be shared with members of the Family Sharing group, and each member can enjoy new features and storage plans.

For information, the main feature of iCloud+ is that users can retrieve passwords through contact assistance verification. Apart from that, iCloud also allows users to transfer their digital assets to relatives or trusted people.

It didn't stop there, Maps also received a design update to explore the world in new ways. This app will display the data in full screen mode with more images. While the Wallet app, added support for family keys and ID documents.

Although Apple plans to release the final iOS 15 later this year, users can already download the Developer Beta version by accessing Apple's developer portal. Unfortunately, only selected users can have it at this time.
