Nothing officially rolled out their latest operating system update, Nothing OS 4.1, to a number of legacy devices after debuting on the Nothing Phone (4a) series last month.
This update was initially available for the Nothing Phone (3), then quickly expanded to various mid-range models in the Nothing and CMF ecosystem.
With this update, users not only get performance improvements, but also a series of artificial intelligence-based features that enrich the daily user experience.

The only device that has not been included in the list is the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite.
The company has confirmed that the model will receive an update in May 2026.
Nothing also reminds that the distribution of updates is carried out gradually, so users may need to wait a few days until the update notification appears.
For those who have not received it, the update can be checked manually through the Settings > System > System Updates menu.
AI Eraser and 100 Language Transcription Features Highlight
One of the most prominent new features is the AI Eraser in the Nothing Gallery app. This feature is able to detect unwanted people in the background, reflections, to other disturbing objects, then delete them intelligently. Users can also manually select specific areas to be deleted.
In addition, Nothing presents Essential Voice, an AI-based voice-to-text transcription tool that supports more than 100 languages, including regional languages such as Hindi, Bengali, and Tamil. However, this feature is not available for the Nothing Phone (2) and CMF Phone 1.
The update also brings three new widgets called Breathing Break. This widget offers simple breathing exercises to help users take a break in the middle of an activity. When enabled, the widget will run a timer while guiding the inhale and exhale exercises.
For the notification system, the Live Updates feature is now expanded to be compatible with the Glyph Matrix and Glyph Interface.
Real-time information can now also be seen on the Always-On Display, Status Bar, Lock Screen, and notification panel.
Nothing also added a new clock design from the Phone (3a) community edition, a work by a community member named @jadzok.
Not less important, this update also brings the April 2026 security patch, accompanied by various bug fixes and stability improvements.
