JAKARTA - Meta introduced two new smart glasses models, Ray-Ban Meta Blayzer and Ray-Ban Meta Scriber. These products are designed specifically for users who need lenses from a doctor's prescription.

The Blayzer variant uses a rectangular frame design that is available in standard and large sizes. Meanwhile, the Scriber model offers a more rounded design to provide a different aesthetic look.

Both glasses are claimed to be the most comfortable devices ever designed by Meta due to their extendable hinges. Users can also replace the nose pads and adjust the tips of the glasses through the help of an optician.

In addition to hardware, Meta also launched an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based software update to their glasses. One of the features is automatic nutrition tracking that allows users to record food intake only through voice commands.

Users can also get an instant summary of WhatsApp messages without having to touch the phone. Meta AI will summarize long group chats and maintain privacy through an end-to-end encryption system.

Another feature is Neural Handwriting which allows users to reply to messages by moving their fingers on any surface. This feature will work on various major platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp, and iMessage on iOS devices.

Pedestrian navigation will also be expanded to cities across the US to provide direct directions on the lens of the glasses. This feature will help users stay focused on looking ahead without having to constantly stare at the screen of the phone in their hands.
