Google Indonesia is working with the National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas) and Jasa Marga in order to support the smooth flow of the 2026 Lebaran homecoming, by sharing all information related to travel on Google Maps.

Through this cooperation, Google Maps Strategic Partner Development Manager, Richard Darsono, said Google is committed to providing accurate and reliable information, especially during the homecoming period where mobility increases significantly.

"This is the fifth year we have worked with the Korlantas and Jasa Marga to make the 2026 homecoming plan a success. We are working together to launch information on the homecoming flow, including routes and also closing schedules (roads)," said Richard in a press conference on Thursday, February 12 at Google's office, Jakarta.

In addition, the public can also access various other supporting features such as toll rate estimates, alternative route options, public transportation schedules including trains, and an offline map download feature so that navigation can continue even if the internet connection is limited.

The Deputy Head of the Bag Ops Department of the National Police, AKBP Renaldi Oktavian, said that his party would contribute by providing updates related to the implementation of traffic engineering management.

"Why? This traffic engineering management must also be conveyed to the public. So that later the public will have references, choices, or how to plan a trip," said Renaldi.

The Jasa Marga application, Travoy, will also be integrated with Google Maps, where the public can plan their trip in more detail, starting from estimating toll rates, travel duration, to toll gate options.

Jasa Marga also provides access to real-time traffic condition monitoring through more than 3,500 CCTV installed on toll roads, as well as other supporting radar technology.

In addition, Travoy now has a digital toll transaction receipt feature as part of the sustainability principle to reduce the use of printed receipts.

"So that it doesn't have to be printed in print, there is a choice whether to print it or not, don't worry if you forget to press the print button or even lose the receipt, all of that will be in the Travoy application feature," explained Head of Corporate Communication and Community Development of Jasa Marga, Lisye Octaviana.

With high mobility, this cross-agency collaboration is expected to help people avoid peak hours, choose the best route, and obtain travel information more integrated.
