Google has officially expanded the presence of Personal Intelligence to the AI Mode in its search engine, which allows search results to be more personal by utilizing the context from various applications.
Starting today, Google AI Pro and AI Ultra customers can choose to connect Gmail and Google Photos to AI Mode, so that Google can provide a response that is more tailored to each user's needs.
By connecting a Gmail and Google Photos account, AI Mode can provide more appropriate recommendations without users having to explain preferences repeatedly.
"With Personal Intelligence, recommendations are not only in line with your interests - but also perfectly integrated into your life," said Google Search Product Vice President Robby Stein in his announcement.
Google gives an example, when users are planning a vacation, AI Mode can refer to hotel booking emails in Gmail as well as previous travel photos in Google Photos to compile family itinerary recommendations.
In addition, this Personal Intelligence is also claimed to be very helpful for you to shop, because the AI Mode can consider the type of goods you buy and where you shop.
Even though it uses personal data, Google insists that this feature is optional (opt-in) and users can enable or disable it at any time.
Personal Intelligence is being rolled out gradually as a Labs feature for English-language AI Pro and AI Ultra customers in the United States, and is not yet available for business, enterprise, or education Workspace accounts.
The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
